Astrology has a great deal to offer. Today there are three primary components of Astrology: spirituality, prediction, and understanding how each individual responds to life events in their own unique way, or psychology.
Astrology is like psychology in many ways, but it is actually something quite different. The color, depth, and broad spectrum of meaning of the signs, planets, and house archetypes suggest mythological pathways to healing that are quite unlike the methodologies that the various psychological schools use. Astrology suggests and defines holistic patterns of behavior having subtle tones and colors. As a tool for self-understanding and meaningful life direction, Astrology can generate elegant and direct suggestions unavailable with orthodox psychology.*
In terms of spirituality, each horoscope suggests a life theme, a purpose or calling. Astrology is the means to see the big picture, a detailed view of your personal life mission. This includes vocational information, which can be helpful to individuals preparing for a career or older adults considering a career change.
Astrology also offers a prediction element, and I do feel that the predictive side has a great deal of value. Some Astrologers prefer to stay with just the birth chart analysis. But when you see so clearly in the horoscope suggestions of behavioral cycles, you can fairly well guess the persons future behavior without even a look at future Astrological trends. Add those trends suggested in the horoscope, and the predictive element becomes a dynamo for change. The analysis segues from past to future so naturally that there is little to criticize. And there is a lot of new science to suggest that the idea of predictive Astrology is really not that unusual.
I can not really tell you how Astrology works, I also can not explain the nature and mechanics of light waves. Just as the electrical system in the house seems to work without fail, the systemic nature and practice of Astrology is equally operational. It’s proof is found in it’s daily usefulness. Of course there is a system of applied methods that I employ. That system being contemporary and pragmatic. (Please note that my web site is full of useful information, but it does not detail the full nature of the system that I use.) My feeling is that if you can use the findings of Astrology for your own gain, then that is sufficient. Or in other words, if the medicine works, keep taking it!
About Consultations
A big block of time is dedicate to prepare for each consultation. I have a specific method to analyze each birth chart. Careful notes are prepared so that I can participate in each consultation without jargon. The consultation is conducted in plain language. Each consultation is a dialogue, both Astrologer and client participating. I direct the process but that process is shaped by the responses of the client. The typical consultation last from one to one and a half hours in length. Above all contemporary Astrology offers each individual an opportunity to have a new and helpful perspective, a perspective dedicated to finding steps for new life change.
The horoscope suggests that we are a part of nature, the greater universe, that our time and potential are unique reflections of the natural events and circumstances captured at the time of one’s birth. The stars of our birth, like guiding lights, are points of meditations ever available to reveal new creative levels of being. Allowing us to recreate our image through redirection and conscious decisions. In our own way being a part of the universe, and it’s creative processes.
